Here at Stopping Power we pride ourselves on being able to offer the very best of everything we do. This in turn means that you are in safe hands when it comes to vehicle tuning.
We offer engine tuning strictly for BMW Diesels engines only. This allows us to offer specialist solutions with an extreme depth of knowledge. We use state of the art equipment and carry out precautionary test prior to any works being carried out.
We are firm believers that dynograph results and figures are always arguable amongst both end users and professionals. With this in mind, all of our tuning is carried out doing road logging, which gives real work results that actually means something.
Our own BMW E91 is the UK fastest thanks to both the software we have developed and also the extensive efforts we’ve made in developing hardware. The masters behind the tuning also have the worlds fastest N57 powered vehicle BMW 130d 1000hp 1500nm AS Performance Acceleration
Tuning will be completed at our address and can take between 1 to 7 days depending on the vehicle in question. We are able to offer simple “stage 1” remaps all the way up to bespoke compound builds. Prices range from £400 – £800.
You will see below 4 different options on tuning. Whilst we don't like to work on "stage" tuning, this is a useful way to determine the level of tuning you require. For example a "stage 1" tune is simply a tweak of the factory software to optimise things. A "stage 2" would typically involve the fitting of a larger intercooler and sometimes a modified intake system. A "stage 3" if one step further again and often will include a hybrid turbocharger. "stage 4" is an all out custom build that will incorporate hybrid turbos, modified/upgraded injectors and other fuel and sensing components.
